Dr. Elizabeth Kessler is the clinic director and owner of Minnesota Natural Medicine Center, located on the west side of highway 169 in Champlin. Dr. Kessler is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine who graduated with high honors from the Northwestern Health Sciences University College of Chiropractic. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition as well as Exercise Physiology from Abilene Christian University in Abilene Texas where she served as captain of the Track and Field Team. During her NCAA career she earned All-American status in the Pole Vault as well as Academic All-America honors. During her studies at Northwestern, Dr. Elizabeth co-founded and served as President of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) Sports Council where she had the opportunity to receive unparalleled field experience. Dr. Kessler has completed over 600 hours of continuing education in Clinical Nutrition and she is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Graston Technique Certified (GT-C), Functional Movement Screen, and Functional Movement Taping – RockTape Level I and II Certified. She has also been certified as a personal trainer by the National Council for Strength and Fitness. Currently, Dr. Kessler is completing a post-doctoral program to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). When not seeing patients, you can find her volunteering in medical tents for major races and events such as the Minneapolis Marathon, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, and TeamOrtho races. Dr. Elizabeth’s unique credentials earned her the opportunity to be the team physician for many local sports teams as well as the medical director for Team Pentair at the Bike MS: C.H. Robinson Multiple Sclerosis 150 mile ride. Dr. Elizabeth brings a family practice perspective to the clinic with her valuable expertise in nutritional planning and detoxification protocols helping patients with the everyday challenges of achieving balanced health. She utilizes the techniques of Transverse Friction Massage, Myofascial Lengthening, Applied Kinesiology, Motion Palpation, Diversified, and SOT Blocking.
